This is a discussion that I feel very strongly about. Just because you don’t like the taste of a specific beer doesn’t mean it’s “bad.” There are plenty of great beers out there that I don’t like but can recognize as properly brewed examples of a specific style. So what is “bad beer,” you ask? Check out my column in the Burlington Free Press on the subject.
“With the craft beer boom in full swing, we often hear about how much incredible beer is out there. The quality bar has been set pretty high as microbrewers continue to innovate and refine brewing practices. But what we don’t hear very much about is how common bad beer is out in the market.”
